Biography

Christine picked up her dad's trumpet in 6th grade and hasn't looked back since. She grew up as an Army brat and has always loved traveling and exploring new ideas, both geographically and musically. She earned her BA in Physics and Trumpet Performance from the College of St. Benedict, as well as an MM in Trumpet Performance from the University of Colorado-Boulder.

Christine founded Quarkestra Silent Film Orchestra to compose new original scores to classic silent films, and also works as a freelance film composer.  She writes and performs with Neutrino Bambino (formerly Big Ol' Pony) and works as a sidewoman in The Ghost of Joseph Buck, Emily Manuel, Afterbloom, Fred Savage and the Unbeatables, Florea, John Statz, the Wes Watkins Ensemble, and remains an active studio musician.

By day, she works at Harrelson Trumpets - building the most beautiful and efficient trumpets in existence.  She lives in Denver, CO, and in her free time loves to run around lakes and mountains, craft complex treasure hunts, dance to Thriller, and brew stouts.
